Rajiv Savara, Chairman

Rajiv Savara Managing Director Rajiv, is a Chartered Accountant with over 26 years of experience in the Oil & Natural Gas and Marine Industries. On completing his schooling from St. Xaviers High School - Delhi, Rajiv graduated in Commerce from the Sri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. He commenced his Articles with Kumar, Grover & Co. - Chartered Accountants, having completed them with Mohinder Puri & Co. - Chartered Accountants. On qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in July 1984, he joined the Management Consultancy Division of A. F. Ferguson & Co. - Chartered Accountants where he was responsible for several financial and accounting assignments including those related to strategic acquisitions. In 1989, Rajiv identified the niche for a professionally run business that could supply equipment and provide services to the Oil & Natural Gas Sectors, whereupon, he and Sarabjit Singh jointly established G&T Resources Worldwide, a Partnership Firm, now dormant. Thereafter, Rajiv has played a significant role in the conceptualization, formation, taking forward and the success of both, G&T Oilfield And Offshore Services Pvt. Ltd as well as G&T Total Energy Services Pvt. Ltd.

In the mid-90's, Rajiv and his wife Roohi, embarked upon their collecting career, starting their Collection with Japanese Meiji Art, focusing on Wooden and Ivory Okimonos as well as Shadonas. In the late 90's, their focus diverted to the creation of what has now become, a distinguished yet little - known, most personal collection of Pre-Modern and Modern Indian Art. Their approach has been a unique blend of insight and erudition. Roohi and Rajiv's admiration for the powerful Works of Raja Ravi Varma, the Tagore's (Rabindranath, Gaganendranath and Abanindranath) and the early period Works of the Progressives Group (M.F. Husain, V.S. Gaitonde, S.H. Raza, F.N. Souza, Akbar Padamsee, Ram Kumar) reinforced their desire to collect and realize an ever-expanding program of acquisitions, now nested as the Roohi and Rajiv Savara Family Collection

Roohi and Rajiv, alongwith Rajiv's younger brother Rahul Savara, have established the not-for-profit The Savara Foundation for the Arts, to house this unique repository of Pre-Modern and Modern Indian Art and to encourage, in the Arts, higher education, conservation and support the development of new areas of purpose

Roohi savara Director Roohi, is a Lawyer with over 16 years of Legal Consulting experience, most of it in the Oil & Natural Gas Industry. After high schooling from the Convent of Jesus & Mary, New Delhi in 1979, Roohi graduated with Honors in Commerce in 1982, from the prestigious Jesus & Mary College, University of Delhi. On completing her post graduation in Law from Delhi University, she joined P R Agrawal & Associates - Advocates & Solicitors. She became associated with the activities of the G&T Group in the early-90s and thereafter, co-promoted the setting up of both, G&T Oilfield And Offshore Services Pvt. Ltd. and subsequently, G&T Total Energy Services Pvt. Ltd.

Rajinder (Ranju) Nath Gadi, Director

Ranju Gadi Director Rajinder (Ranju), is a Fellow Chartered Accountant by qualification, having superannuated as Director (Finance) of Alstom Transport Ltd., New Delhi - a position he moved into in 1998. Ranju was Director (Strategy & IT) for two years with Alstom India. In that position, he was responsible for developing a five-year strategy for Alstom's Indian operations. The strategy evolved by Ranju and his team is now under successful implementation by Alstom worldwide. Ranju was Vice-President (Finance) and CFO of Samcor, prior to which he was a Partner/Director of the Management Consultancy Division of A. F. Ferguson & Co. (erstwhile KPMG associate) – Chartered Accountants.
